BRANDING

PLANET ARK BRAND REFRESH

As Brand and Visual Content Manager for Planet Ark Environmental Foundation, I devised a brand refresh to give the organisation a brighter, more modern look, replacing the 30-year old branding that was still in use. This was an enormous solo project to undertake. I spent a substantial amount of time in consultation with all stakeholders before commencing the brand refresh, to ensure I had a solid idea of our market positioning, identity and vision for the future. The process thereafter involved:

  • Logo redesign/refresh

  • Logo system development

  • Colour palette

  • Typography

  • Brand assets

  • Photographic rules

  • Brand language

This refreshed branding package was presented to and approved by the Planet Ark Executive Team and the Board of Directors, before the roll-out commenced in late 2024.

The Seedling Bank Brand refresh

The Seedling Bank, a subsidiary campaign of Planet Ark’s National Tree Day, required a brand refresh to draw it more closely into line with the freshly revamped (see below) National Tree Day brand. I completed the brand refresh for TSB, which included:

  • New logo and usage rules

  • Colour palette

  • Typography

  • Brand assets (illustrations)

  • Photo usage guidelines

National tree day brand refresh

The National Tree Day brand needed a revamp to give it more of a youthful, community feeling. The logo, provided by Toyota as part of their sponsorship, had to remain, but I created the rest of the brand refresh around that, including:

  • Research with stakeholders

  • Colour palette

  • Logo usage rules

  • Typography

  • Brand assets (illustrations)

  • Rules for photos

AHIMSA YOGA branding

I designed the branding for my own yoga business, Ahimsa Yoga ('Ahimsa’ means non-harm in Sanskrit). This personal branding project included:

  • Logo design

  • Colour palette

  • Typography

  • Business cards

  • Letterhead paper
