PROJECT COMPASSION GIF

I taught myself how to make animated GIFs in Photoshop. As part of my work on Project Compassion, Caritas Australia’s hugely successful annual Lenten fundraising campaign, I used this newly acquired skill to create some promotional assets. This one was used as Caritas Australia’s Instagram cover photo throughout the 2019 campaign, and I created alternate versions of it to use in digital ad placements.

Imagine fighting COVID-19 when you lack access to clean running water, or live in a crowded refugee camp?

On May 9, 2020, Aria Award Winner Gary Pinto hosted an online concert for Caritas Australia. The aim of Walk With Me: Loungeroom Sessions was to raise money and awareness for the vulnerable communities around the world that Caritas Australia supports. The lives of these communities could be devastated by COVID-19.

Using the brand guidelines set by Barefoot Design, I created dozens of digital assets for the concert, including this MP4. It was used on Caritas Australia’s social media accounts, and shared by many of the artists involved.

I created this simple video to promote Regular Giving (called ‘Caritas Neighbours’) at Caritas Australia. COVID-19 has been particularly rough on those living in poverty, so in 2020 Caritas was trying to keep raising funds and awareness for the most vulnerable people in our world.

I created this Facebook GIF/MP4 ad for a local yoga studio, Om Yoga. I came up with the concept, layout and messaging for this ad: I wanted to convey the idea of moving from off-kilter, glitchy sensations, to a more smooth and balanced flow.

NOTE: there appears to be a bit of a lag at the beginning of this video; the final version moved a little faster, but Sqaurespace doesn’t support MP4 files, unfortunately!
